Join Sonia Jones each Thursday for chair-based Pilates. The session will focus on improving posture, muscle tone, balance, joint mobility and flexibility. Suitable if you have difficulty getting down to the floor and prefer the support of a chair. Not suitable if your sitting balance is poor.
You’ll need a firm chair with a flat backrest and no arm rests. Please wear clothing that is not too restrictive (e.g. t- shirt/sweatshirt, jogging bottoms/leggings and socks).
Only take part for the time you feel comfortable, start slowly and build up to the 30 minutes gradually.Don't exercise through pain and stop knowing you can do more.
