A Gift in Your Will

A gift in your will is more important than you can imagine.

You may not have considered it before but a gift in your will really matters. Your generosity enables us to provide award winning care and devotion to people and their families facing the lifelong challenges of the incurable illness: Multiple Sclerosis.

MS cuts off messages sent from the brain to the rest of the body, resulting in a wide range of symptoms occurring inside and outside the body. On a good day, MS can be difficult to detect unless you know the person and even then it could be affecting any limb, any thought and any action they take. On a bad day they could find themselves immobile, unable to think or speak clearly, have difficulty swallowing or do anything for themselves. Everyone is different. For some, MS can be managed through careful adjustments to their life; for others the bad days are as good as it gets.

Your Legacy Improves Lives

You can play a big part in making things better. Your gift offers specialist one to one physiotherapy that is built around the individual, a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (unique to the area) to assist with the body's healing processes, counselling for when things get too much, five different types of adapted excercise classes and nourishing beauty and massage therapies. All of these will be used by hundreds of local people to make their lives better.

Swindon Therapy Centre for MS offers a lifeline for those confronting the realities of MS by encouraging a positive ethos and showing that families and carers have a special place in our hearts. We are a team of over 60 dedicated volunteers and 300 members simply doing everything we can to help in the absence of a cure for MS. We also welcome anyone young or old with other conditions like parkinson's, ME, strokes, brain injury, cancer, cerebral palsy and autism.

None of our help can be offered without a penny of others' generosity. We just wouldn't exist at all.
